Performers' Opinions

Full Screen Kill Me Bookmark Me      Wowsers, it's time for the Wendesday update! You know what that means! Take out your chewing gum and put on your oxygen mask, because I frankly don't want to be held liable if somebody dies of excitement. And swallowing your gum, and/or not breathing enough tends to do that. Anyway, today's update is about the opinions of some bands or something, I'm not really sure. By now it should be pretty obvious that I couldn't think of anything to write; let's see if you can spot the difference.      Right, so there's these bands and actors and such speaking out against war. If you've ever read this fine piece of interwebnet engineering, you know that I am against war. Oh wait, no, I'm for war. Under the right circumstances. I mean, going to war because Tony Blair scratched his ass on television in an offensive manner is not really worth it, but if it is a worthy cause, I think it should be done. That being said, who cares what these musicians and actors think. So far, here are the performers that I've heard of being anti-war: The Dixie Chicks System of a Down Martin Sheen Charlie Sheen Hanoi Jane Fonda And some others, I'm sure.      Anyway, there are some musicians and actors that are against some war in Iraquisland and are making their opinions known to the world. Or at least a major part of Hollywood. Regardless, they are being loud about it. What I fail to comprehend is why anyone is taking these people seriously. They are people who get payed because of something that they do. Wait for it...wait...and that something they do has nothing to do with politics or their intelligence. Now, wasn't that suspensful? Anyway. So they speak out about their beliefs. Who cares. Just ignore them, since they aren't standing in the middle of a goddamn freeway, making me sit on a bridge for fifteen minutes doing nothing but cursing humanity and smashing my face against my steering wheel. Now those are the people that need to be dealt with. Oh man, just thinking of that gets me pissed off. I gotta go punt my dog into the wall...      Okay, back. So in conclusion, these people have no relevance and are just speaking out about something that they have no knowledge of. Very much in contrast to my well researched and carefully thought out plan of attack to attain peace or war or whatever. Support our troops. Or at least don't trap me on a damn bridge right on the edge of the city I'm trying to get out of. That doesn't make me want to join your cause.
