Pro-Anorexia Nervosa
Okay, I'm
sure most of you have heard of all these sites dedicated to anorexic chicks
(and sometimes guys) who are at some insanely low body weight. I just ran
across one
of these sites and was astounded at the blatant attention whoring going
on. Let's stop and think about that for a second. I actually pay to talk about
my opinions online, on a website that nobody visits. And I was disgusted by
the attention whoring going on in this website. Yes, it was that bad. First
of all, this girl claims to be four feet eleven inches tall and weigh forty-seven
pounds. That, my good dear friends, is a medical impossibility, since your
skeleton and internal organs themselves - without any muscle or fat - weigh
around that. So basically, in order to weigh that much - in reality, not on
her website - she would have to die and stay dead (no raising like a vampire)
for like a week.
The best part about this webpage? People believe her! And not only do they
believe her - they support and congradulate her! Amazing! I had no idea that
people were that gullible (and/or) sick. Normally, I wouldn't care what this
one girl were doing, since she is most likely a well off white girl who thinks
that the world does not understand her (similar to the everpresent emofag).
However, when she starts spouting off her drama queen babble about how she
is attempting to attain perfection, but cannot because she is only in the
top twelve runners on her cross country running team and she only has a 3.707
- or something like that - GPA, I am astounded that people actually take her
seriously.
To anybody who has been to or visits this site, let me know
what you think. I don't understand how anyone could believe what this girl
is saying, or how she could continue to write up her nonsense about how horrible
her life is, when it is encouraging others to be like her. Indirectly or not,
she is encouraging these girls to be just like her. They like the thought
of her skeletal body and her picture is what they wish to attain, so they
do what she does. She says she hates her life, yet she keeps writing. Fantastic.
PS. She constantly complains about annonymous people signing her diary. Well,
this isn't annonymous and gives her something to respond to. Anorexia-nervosa,
